  • God Connects

Worship center 102 | Led by Pastor bahn & Pastor Doria

This course in Christianity covers some of the foundations of our faith and is offered for people who want to connect more deeply with God and learn how we Lutherans express and teach the Christian faith.  If you are interested in joining St. John as a member, this course is required.  Although this course is required for membership, members and guests alike are welcome to attend this course.  To register, contact Suellen Denis.

  • not a fan

Chapel | Led by Richard Kolodziejcyk/Darrell Wehlmann

This six-week DVD study follows the journey of Eric Nelson, a man leading a compartmentalized triple life as a pleasure-seeking rebel, a cutthroat corporate executive, and a nominal Christian who embarks on a spiritual journey that transforms his commitment to Jesus Christ and tests the faith of his friends and family.

  • An overview of isaiah

Children's ministry center rm 14 | led by david steele

Isaiah prophesied from 739–681 BC to a nation that had turned a deaf ear to the Lord. Instead of serving Him with humility and offering love to their neighbors, the nation of Judah offered meaningless sacrifices in God’s temple at Jerusalem and committed injustices throughout the nation. The people of Judah turned their backs on God and alienated themselves from Him, which created the need for Isaiah’s pronouncements of judgment—declarations made in the hope that God’s chosen people would return to Him.

  • Raising Kids with a Faith That Lasts

Christian Life Center 203 | Led by Matthew and Dana Bahn

In Raising Kids with a Faith That Lasts, you'll discover how to use family fun, everyday conversations, and meaningful milestone markers to launch your child's relationship with God.

  • Study of proverbs

Children's Ministry Center rm. 15 | Led by jim vogt

Proverbs accomplishes something no other Biblical book does: it simply compiles numerous short instructions for living an effective life on earth. Proverbs concerns itself completely with instructing people in the path of wisdom. The writers, chiefly Solomon, of the book recognized the varied circumstances of a person’s life and provided principles to apply in a variety of situations rather than instructions to follow in only a few specific instances.

  • God's grace in the book of acts

    Worship center 101

In ACTS, Luke’s second volume, the Old Testament and the apostolic testimony through the convincing power of the Holy Spirit bear witness to GOD’S GRACE in Christ Jesus, the resurrected Lord of the Church.. All need is your Bible, which you should not be reluctant to write In. You will be given a printed outline with questions for each chapter. This course follows closely on the just completed video production by Paul Meier, “Jesus, Legend or Lord.”
