Missions

St. John is involved with a number of projects throughout the year, including sending teams to Kenya and downtown Houston to share the Gospel of Jesus, or even handing out Bibles in our local community.  We also do various other missions which includes short-term mission trips, Vacation Bible School, and Christmas celebrations.

  • KEnya Mission Trips

There are few experiences like going to Kenya. Standing near the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro to seeing giraffes and zebras on the plains, Kenya is a truly beautiful land. But the adventure and the beauty in the land pales in comparison to the opportunities and the experience of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with those who have never heard it before.

St. John has been blessed to partner with Trinity Lutheran Church (Klein, TX) to send short-term missionary teams to Kenya since 2010 to villages in southern Kenya. If you are interested in joining in this mission work, we invite you to find out more by contacting Pastor David Bahn or by reading the information below.

  • International  Cooperating Missions

Through ICM, St. John has helped to fund the construction of two churches in the Philippines and El Salvador. We are currently collecting offerings for a third congregation in Madagascar. Watch the video here!
