New study coming : family discipleship

If you have a child of any age who is living under your roof and you'd like Biblically practical steps which will help you disciple your children and grow closer to Jesus together, then consider attending this class! Your children will be able to attend Sunday School while you attend this class as well. Nick and Melissa Hopper will be leading you through a book which is written by two pastors who have children from preschool to high school and they discuss how discipleship will grow and change as your children grow.

BEGINS SUNDAY, JANUARY 9, 2022 in the Admin Building Room 103

The book of Daniel

The book of Daniel is often described as two books in one. The first is the tale of young Hebrew exiles who remained steadfast in their faith and thrived despite being captives in a foreign land. The second is the vivid description of Daniels vision of the end times. Linking the two together is the overriding theme that a just and merciful God will deliver the nation of Israel just as he delivered the Hebrew children from their captors.

This class meets in the Ministry Center, Room 104. Email Bobby for more info.

The Gospel of John | STUDY BY DAVE STEELE

The study will use the study materials developed and published by David Steele. As one of the original twelve disciples, John walked with Jesus, heard his teaching and witnessed his many miracles. The purpose of John’s gospel is found in John 20:30-31 where he wrote, “Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." John teaches us who Jesus is, what he wants us to be and the gifts he brings to us in our daily lives and in our eternal salvation.

This class meets in Administration Building Rm 101-102.

first peter   |  STUDY BY REV. KYLE IDLEMAN

LED BY RICHARD KOLODZIEJCYK & Darrell Wehlmann  (in the chapel)

This world looks nothing like the promised perfect kingdom of God. And yet we as God's people must live in it every day. In The Book of 1 Peter, a 7-session DVD based study, Kyle Idleman walks through the short letter and unpacks the importance of our witness in this world. Suffering is probably not something we pray for; we tend to focus our prayers and lives on things that make us comfortable. The Book of 1 Peter reminds us that Scripture promises suffering as part of our journey, but that Christ is our hope in the midst of it. The world's not as it should be. Until the day that God rights all wrongs, we have a job to do. Let's be about the business of the kingdom.

This group meets in The Chapel on Sunday mornings at 9:45am.

Contact Richard about the class.

IN person & Zoom study w/barbara eldridge & FRIENDS

Barbara and friends host a weekday Bible Study on Wed from 3-4pm in her home.

In this current study, God's presence surrounds Esther throughout the entirety of her story. The same is true for your life: God is always present with you, even when you feel He is absent. Just because God seems hidden does not mean He is absent, but rather, that He is working faithfully behind the scenes. He never abandons His creation, and He works diligently through you to propel His plan forward. (This 8 week study begins May 19th)

Contact Barbara about the study location and for Zoom information.
