St. John is involved with a number of projects throughout the year, including sending teams to Kenya and downtown Houston to share the Gospel of Jesus, or even handing out Bibles in our local community.  We also do various other missions which includes short-term mission trips, Vacation Bible School, and Christmas celebrations.

Faith, Fun & a Mission Trip!

We are going on our 2021 Mission trip to Trinity Lutheran in Wahiawa, Hawaii to help with their VBS, to repair and paint Trinity Lutheran School's sports storage container, participate in Sunday worship, do some beach cleanup, see Pearl Harbor, hike, go to the beach, and have fun together!  Airfare is paid for by each individual/family.  All COVID safety measures will be followed.  Each Jr. High and Sr. High student is accompanied by an adult family member.  We will be staying with Trinity church families, trying new foods, and remembering our sunscreen. ;)

The funds we have raised will cover ground transportation, food and supplies.  Thank you for all who have supported us!

    Teen Life Center

Teen Life Center (TLC) has been creating a Christian community for young families since 2008.  Our main program is a support group with a strong emphasis on faith building, which helps our young parents build a stronger family.  Ultimately, we want to prevent additional crisis pregnancies. Although not everyone agrees with their choice to parent at such a young age, we support their decision to do so and celebrate the fact that they chose LIFE!
