Abiding in Christ

Jesus’ words of “Abide in me and I in you,” found in John 15 in the parable of the vine and branches, are some of the most intimate words of comfort in the Bible, offering assurance of unity with Christ, abundant joy, and blessings to Christians throughout the centuries.  Abide in Christ” is a Christian Classic written in 1895 by South African pastor Andrew Murray who reveals his inspiring love and passion for Christ in its 31 chapters.  This 12-lesson Bible study is for new and mature believers and includes many themes in Murray’s Abide in Christ.  There is hope and complete assurance for the believer who finds the thought of abiding in Christ burdened by feeling they are not abiding in Christ.  There is the celebration of God’s promise of abundant joy, peace, and true intimacy with Christ for the believer who has discovered the depth of God’s love for them and the world.
