A Summer Together in Ephesus

Together in Transformation - July 20th, 2025

Yours may not be a radical or dramatic transformation. Many life-long Christians don’t have a conversion experience. But we are all transformed - either when we first came to faith through God’s word and water in Holy Baptism, or when we were brought to faith by the Holy Spirit’s work. Transformation is a lifelong process. We are to be renewed daily by God’s love and grace, his truth and holiness. All this to God’s glory and our neighbor’s and our good.

Built Together in Love - July 13th, 2025

We’re all reeling from the tragic loss of lives because of the flooding along the Guadeloupe River. God has designed his church to respond to these and other life challenges by giving us his gifts. The Body of Christ is built up in love so that we may serve others as we speak the truth in love, and act with humility, gentleness, and patience. We are Built Together in Love to love and serve our neighbor and one another - all to God’s glory.

Together in Love - July 6th, 2025

We cannot comprehend the vastness of God’s love for us. This leads us to trust and love Him even more. So what then? PRAY! BOLDLY PRAY! Believe and know that He can and will do more than you can ever imagine, because He LOVES you so much.

Together for the World - June 29, 2025

The mystery of the Gospel is for all people: Jews and Gentiles, insiders and outsiders.  As the church, we are called to come together and go into the world to make disciples.

Together as One - June 22, 2025

In 2025’s fractured society, the church must model reconciliation and unity. We can help break down dividing walls and build bridges of peace, especially across race, class and culture. In doing this, we will be Connecting Our Neighbors to True Riches in Jesus.

Together in Christ - June 15, 2025

In this sermon, we confess to God any belief in self-salvation. We embrace our new lives in Jesus and acknowledge that true “Immeasurable Riches” are found only in Him. Then, we learn to share that gift with the world! It’s free! Eph 2:1-10 summarizes the law and gospel and our mission!  Death to Life - Together in Christ Dead together with Him -Alive together with Him! So, why did the Ephesians need this? BECAUSE WE ALL NEED IT. EVERYDAY.

Together in Power - June 8, 2025

In a culture fixated on influence, personal power and achievement, your strength and our strength as a church is FULLY in the Holy Spirit. Too many churches seek growth and numbers as that would give them authority, but it’s only the name above every name, which has the power to move: Jesus.

Together in Grace - June 1, 2025

Paul uses the word 'together' 19 times in the span of 14 verses.  In the opening of this epistle, Paul describes the church in a number of ways.  What's clear is that he is after togetherness - a true unity of believers in the gospel.
