The Workers in the Vineyard

Do you want your fair share?  Want to receive what you are due?  After all, the fruit of your labor is worth something, isn’t it?  The more effort you put into your work, it is natural to want to be rewarded even more than those who don’t do as much. Join Pastor Jeff as he leads us through Jesus’ parable of the Laborers in the Vineyard and its surprising twist of God’s generosity. (Matthew 20:1-16)

The Unmerciful Servant

“Unforgiveness is a poison we drink hoping others will die.” ~ Anonymous. Strong words. So are the words of Jesus that describe how His heavenly Father will treat people who do not forgive others as they have been forgiven. May we heed this warning as we realize the amazing grace and mercy God has shown us in Christ Jesus. Join Pastor Jeff as he leads us through Jesus’ parable of the Unmerciful Servant (Matthew 18:21-35)

The Wheat and the Weeds

The Weeds of this world entangle themselves amongst the Wheat of God, His people, to tear down and destroy.  In the End of Days, the Son of Man will send out His Angels of the Harvest to ‘pull the weeds out of His kingdom.’ Our hope as baptized children of God comes from the fact that the temporary struggles of this world will not prevail and “the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.”  Join us as Pastor Jeff leads us through Jesus’ parable of the Wheat and the Weeds.
