The Pathway of Blessedness

As we celebrate All Saints Day, remembering those who have gone on from this life to the next, we rejoice in their witness to Jesus and thank God for his gift of eternal life and the hope of the resurrection. We also listen to Jesus’ description of the blessed life, and each of us will struggle with how we could ever live up to that description. How can we possibly measure up?!? Jesus embodies all those attributes. And even more, he offers us grace and forgiveness. We celebrate both those who have received this in the life of the world to come, but also his gift of blessedness to us by grace through faith.
