Giving is an act of worship and obedience from a heart surrendered to Christ ... a choice we make to follow God's instruction for us. God certainly doesn't need anything from us, it's all His anyway, but when we give to St. John, we support the efforts to provide spiritual growth for ourselves and others, as well as reaching out into our community to meet the spiritual and material needs of others.
