Cancer Support Group
Cancer impacts nearly every family in some way. Whether it’s a personal diagnosis, walking alongside a loved one in their battle or supporting a friend, at St. John, we are surrounded by neighbors, friends, and members of our own church who are facing the physical, emotional, and spiritual toll that cancer brings. As a church called to connect our neighbors to the true riches in Jesus, we feel led to respond to this need with compassion, presence, and hope.
That’s why we’re launching a new Cancer Support Group – a LIVE Group designed to walk with those navigating cancer, as well as their caregivers. This group isn’t about medical advice; it’s about moral and spiritual support, rooted in God’s love and the care of Christian community.
Each gathering will begin in a large group, then divide into two smaller circles: one for those experiencing cancer, and one for caregivers. This process will allow space for honest conversation, prayer, and mutual encouragement in an environment of total confidentiality and grace. We want every person in this journey to know that you are not alone, and the true Cure Giver is God. We will meet the first Tuesday of every month at 7 pm.
