Angels!  Angels!  Angels!  Lots of fun Christmas carols feature angels in their grandeur.  Luke's gospel tells us that the glory of the Lord shone around them.  Fun shows like, "A Charlie Brown Christmas" feature great songs like, "Hark!  The Herald Angels Sing."  Join us Dec 18 as Pastor Jeff shares some of the wonders of this song and the Scripture it is based on.

Silent Night

Silent Night is a most beloved Christmas carol sung by people of all ages throughout the world. The story of how it came about is intriguing and a great reminder that, "All things work for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

It Came Upon The Midnight Clear
One of the best loved Carols of Christmas is It Came Upon The Midnight Clear.  It's all about God fulfilling Old Testament prophesy.  So this week we dig into that prophesy and study what events the carol is leading us to sing about.  

O Come, O Come Emmanuel 

This ancient hymn, based on texts from the vespers evening service, entreats us ultimately to be joyful.  Though we often have to wait on God and His timing, ultimately, we can rejoice in His providence.

Oh Holy Night

This week we start a new series called Restoring the Wonder! We all know how easy it is to lose the wonder and magic of Christmas. Christmas music helps to restore the wonder. So each week this season we will talk about a popular Christmas song and the scripture behind it. This Sunday is the beautiful O Holy Night.
